1. Membership Eligibility
The Center of Sarasota is an exclusive social club for single adults aged 21 and over. By applying for membership, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 21 years of age
- You are legally single (unmarried, divorced, or widowed)
- All information provided in your application is true and accurate
- You agree to undergo a background check as part of the membership approval process
2. Membership Fees and Billing
Membership fees are billed monthly on a recurring basis:
- Social Tier: $TBD/month
- Elite Tier: $TBD/month
- Platinum Tier: $TBD/month
Payment is due on the same day each month. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of membership privileges.
3. Cancellation Policy
Members may cancel their membership at any time with 30 days written notice. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to membership@centerofsarasota.com. No refunds will be issued for partial months. All outstanding balances must be paid in full before cancellation is complete.
4. Code of Conduct
All members are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and appropriate manner. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:
- Harassment, discrimination, or intimidation of any kind
- Inappropriate physical contact without consent
- Excessive alcohol consumption or intoxication
- Use of illegal substances on club premises
- Disruptive or disorderly conduct
- Violation of other members’ privacy
Violation of the code of conduct may result in immediate termination of membership without refund.
5. Guest Policy
Guest privileges vary by membership tier. All guests must be pre-registered and approved by club management. Members are responsible for their guests’ conduct and any damages caused by their guests. Guests must be 21+ and adhere to all club policies.
6. Privacy Policy
The Center of Sarasota is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information:
- Information Collection: We collect personal information including name, email, phone number, payment details, and background check results during membership registration.
- Use of Information: Your information is used to process membership, facilitate events, communicate club updates, process payments, and ensure member safety.
- Data Security: We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Payment information is encrypted and processed through secure third-party processors.
- Information Sharing: We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information with third-party service providers (background check agencies, payment processors) only as necessary to provide services.
- Member Directory: Basic information (first name, photo if provided) may be shared in member directories. You can opt out of directory inclusion.
- Marketing Communications: We may send promotional emails about events and services. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Data Retention: We retain your information for the duration of your membership plus 7 years for legal and accounting purposes.

7. Photography and Event Recording
The club may photograph or video record events for promotional purposes. By attending events, you consent to being photographed or recorded. Members may opt out by notifying staff. Members must obtain consent before photographing or recording other members.
8. Liability Waiver
Members participate in club activities at their own risk. The Center of Sarasota, its owners, employees, and agents are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property. Members agree to indemnify and hold harmless the club from any claims arising from their participation in club activities.
9. Modification of Terms
The Center of Sarasota reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes via email. Continued membership after notification constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
10. Termination by Club
The club reserves the right to terminate any membership at any time for violation of terms, code of conduct violations, or at the club’s sole discretion. In cases of termination by the club, a prorated refund may be issued at management’s discretion.
